This arrangement was for a 50th surprise birthday party. The invitations that were sent out had a dark teal background with lime green accents. So we decided to go with those two colors. Since this party was in December, we plugged in a few Christmas ornaments and silver accents into the arrangement to add some interest.

50th Birthday
This arrangement was for a 50th surprise birthday party. The invitations that were sent out had a dark teal background with lime green accents. So we decided to go with those two colors. Since this party was in December, we plugged in a few Christmas ornaments and silver accents into the arrangement to add some interest.
Pastor Appreciation
These pictures were taken at our church at Pastor Appreciation. It is an annual event we have to honor the hard work and dedication of our Pastor. We decorated for the banquet in our fellowship hall. To keep it simple, we made a large arrangement and had very low key centerpieces, and since the event was in the November, the color theme reflected fall colors. One feature that we have never implemented before was the two brown satin banners. We constructed them and had a wonderful lady in the church embroider them. Each banner read, "Attitude of Servitude". For the longest, I have wanted to do a project like this one, but have never made the time. Another idea I would like to try would be to have banners with the initials of a bride and groom.

Harvest Time Reception
This reception was at the end of October. So the harvest theme fit perfect. The bride wanted to be sure and include sunflowers in each arrangement, and she didn't have to twist our arm to get what she wanted. Sunflowers make such a bold statement. Each guest table had one of four centerpieces, that way the room had variety. There were two large arrangements. One in the foyer to greet the guests as the arrived, and one in the very center of the reception hall. This one was elevated and placed at the intersection of four rectagular food tables. All the fall colors, along with candlelight, made the room feel warm and inviting.

Lime Classic
For this bride, it was classic style all the way. She loved the idea of the all the flowers having one common theme, that they be lime green. We of course accented with a few white flowers as well. Her main arrangement was incredible. It spanned five feet wide and about four feet tall, and that's all flowers. That does not even including the vase or pedestal! We elevated most all of her centerpieces so that her guest didn't feel as though they had to peer around them. They made for very eye-catching arrangements. When it was all said and done, I have to say that it turned out to be my favorite thus far!
Retro Alternative
This wedding was for a couple that had a unusual sense of style. They are both young and into the skateboard scene. Just to give you a idea of their tastes, both wear converse tennis shoes on a daily basis, and decided that it was only appropriate to wear them on their wedding day, yes even the bride....Our job was to take what the couple liked and fuse it with what the mother of the bride preferred. In the end, everything turned out perfect with a mix of alternative style and elegance.
